Located 15 miles north of Mahe, North Island offers a unique Robinson Crusoe barefoot luxury paradise. The island measures 2.5miles by 1 mile, an area of 210 hectares, and boasts 4 fabulous private beaches with excellent snorkelling and diving.
9 Presidential Villas, I Villa Royale plus 1 Villa North Island all located just a few yards from the east beach, comprise the client accommodation in this environmental wonderland.
All Villas are beautifully handcrafted from timber, local stone, glass and ylang-ylang. With a ground floor area of 450sq metres, each villa is self contained having a luxurious proportioned air conditioned bedroom, en suite bathroom with marble bath, outside shower and dressing area, second room as study or additional accommodation with outside shower, plus a spacious living area with sundeck.
A separate mini-kitchen allows for clients to have their meals prepared and enjoyed in their villa or in the main dining room. A private plunge pool and Sala completes your private sanctuary within a sanctuary. The Villa North Island is located at the far end of the beach, providing excellent privacy.
Full butler service caters for your needs including in-villa meals, or champagne picnics on a secluded beach. Take your buggy or bicycle to the West beach through the wonderful glades and pathways and enjoy a cooling drink and barbecued snack after arrival.
The main pavilion area of the island has a superb dining room,bar area,library and gym. The health spa, offering a range of beauty treatments is located on a granite oucrop with beautiful views over the surrounding ocean. However, in-room treatments are also available within your Villa.
North Island is a carefully preserved nature sanctuary supporting a range of endangered species of flora and fauna. The resident ecologists will be delighted to show off their research centre as well as the nature walks around the island..

9 Presidential Villas, all sea facing, air conditioned spacious bedroom, sea facing living area and decking, bathroom and dressing room with marble bath, outside garden shower, additional bedroom or study with DVD/CD system, internet access, outside shower, plus a private plunge pool and sala with decked relaxation area. Finally a seperate kitchen area for butler prepared meals. Each Villa has a mini-bar, tea & coffee facilities, telephone, hairdryer, room security safe.
