The Coral Strand Hotel has recently undergone a large development and refurbishment programme, resulting in a very busy, high-capacity hotel.
One of the main attractions of this hotel is the ideal location, a few footsteps from the beautiful Beau Vallon Bay beach where swimming and water sports are so tempting, and just a short walk from other hotels, restaurants and local shops.
The hotel is centred around the swimming pool and children’s pool, which is closely overlooked by the bar and pool side restaurant. Here an extensive range of à la carte dishes are served, including special children’s meals.
Island Trader - the main restaurant commands a breathtaking view over the bay and offers an American breakfast buffet and a vast range of international evening buffets. There is also an Indian à la carte restaurant. Afternoon tea, coffee, cakes and pancakes are served in the Silhouette Lounge, and once a week the management hosts a complimentary cocktail party for all Coral Strand Hotel guests.
A recently introduced aroma therapy service ia available for clients plus spa treatment and Reiki.
Regular evening entertainment is provided: usually a pianist during dinner in the main restaurant, and then later a local Creole band playing outside near the swimming pool. All rooms are comfortable, simply furnished and many have sea views. The larger mini-suites are most suitable for families and interconnecting rooms are available on request.
