L’Habitation is a small hotel located on Cerf Island, a beautiful island strewn with fascinating coves and hidden beaches. Just 5 kilometres from Mahé Island and its capital, Victoria, Cerf Island lazes within the Marine National Park and provides a magical haven for swimmers and snorkellers alike.

Cerf Island is populated by only a few inhabitants and covered by dense tropical vegetation. Meandering paths enable you to explore this fascinating island, discovering the coved coastline for which this island is known and loved.

There are also pedaloes and canoes, which are available to access certain coves difficult to reach on foot. Designed as a typical colonial-style Plantation House, L’Habitation lies just yards from the swimming pool and small beach, commanding idyllic views over the neighbouring smaller islands and of course Mahé Island itself.

The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated, and all share the superb views. There are family rooms and day rooms available. Dining in the hotel’s restaurant is a delicious experience of Creole and European cuisine. There is also a bar, offering refreshments and cocktails throughout the day.
