Our Opinion... this family-run establishment offers pleasant accommodation on the stunning Côte d’Or Beach. The informal, relaxed atmosphere makes it very suitable for families and couples seeking a small, beach-fronted hotel.

Boasting a prime position on the beautiful Côte d’Or Beach, Acajou Hotel lazes unassumingly amidst dense casuarina, takamaka and coconut palms.

Constructed from mahogany wood, this small hotel has been designed to blend into the surroundings, offering comfortable accommodation and individual sea-facing verandahs.

The rooms frame the central swimming pool that lies in close proximity to the beach restaurant and bar. Here light snacks and refreshments are served throughout the day.

The pavilion accommodates the hotel’s main restaurant and bar, where a selection of Creole and international dishes served. Evening entertainment is occasionally provided, but the general theme is very low-key and subtle.

A starlit amble along the beach to the nearby Paradise Sun Hotel will provide a more upbeat atmosphere, including dancing and listening to bands and local singers. During the day the beautiful Côte d’Or beach will also provide a wealth of water sports and boat excursions to neighbouring islands for snorkelling and barbecue lunches.
